19's with lowered car....

to all you guys with 19's and lowering springs does it ever sound like your car is bottoming out but it isnt......? Whenever i drive with a passenger and hit a bump it sounds as if the car bottoms out. i have mudflaps on my car so i checked them first to see if there was major damage which would lead to the conclusion that i am bottoming out and the mudflaps hittin the ground is saving me, but there isnt. i then checked the wheel well to see if the wheel was hitting it due to an accident previous to getting the rims and lowering the car, but then saw that it wasnt that because the tire would have cut marks on it from the contact. This noise would continue and then i checked the struts on the car and on mainly the front ones i saw what looked to be rubber streaks on em... idk if thats possible but if it is, is there a way to fix it and if its not possible what else could be the problem. I mean i'm assuming that its the tire hitting the bottom of my tokico hp struts because theres honestly a 2-3 inch gap while the muddflap to the ground has a clearance of like 5 inches. So if ne one has any suggestions i'm post em

you may want to check your links up front. The CV joints could be bumping a part of the shock assembly.

My '02 has never bottomed out since I've lowered it (almost 2 years).
