Pirelli P-Zero Nero
Pirelli P-Zero Nero
I just bought new tires – Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S P235/45ZR17 so fare I’m happy with them (a little soft sides but inflating them to 44 psi fix that problem). I just have one question I just notice that my tires Traction Grade are “A” and not like it says on the internet “AA” :

Can anybody clearifai this ( what it say on your tires) .
I doubt ther is any difference between “A” and “AA” but I though I might ask

I have the Exact same tire and size on my Q45 wheels, had them put on last week. I love them. I think mine are inflated around 40 psi, but im going to lower them down to 37 or 38 psi all around. They grip just as good as my Z rated summer tires I had previously. Im hoping these will do ok in the snow, I havent heard anything bad.
My only concern is the life of these tires, they seem pretty soft for an All-season tire. Overall though, I like them, very quiet and smooth.

I just bought Yokohama Avid H4S (215/60R/15) and have set mine at 36 psi. National Tire recommended 35 psi and the placard in the console recommends 33 front/32 rear. Higher psi helps fuel economy and tread life to some extent and in your case handling as well.
Tire manufacturers underrate max tire pressure for legal reasons and temperature changes. There's a large safety tolerance between max tire pressure and pressure where the tire will blow out. Many auto-xers inflate the tires 5-10psi or more past the max to increase contact patch and stiffness. Running at 44psi is perfectly fine if they suit your tastes and driving.
I have these tires...almost 8k on them...and no noticeable wear....has gone thru 2 drag racing events and many street races....i also corner harder than your average joe...I will report back when the tires hit 15k
for reference..I keep my psi at 40 all around...

Just as an update, i've had mine for approximately 27k miles and other than the abnormal wear from when i took too long for alignment after dropping the car - the tires have been holding up pretty well. I vary the pressure between Nissan's recommended all the way up to 38psi.
Best Tire I have ever owned. Everything a sport sedan could need. Put almost 40,000 on these already. Only damage has been from the harsh winter potholes. The wear life is exceptional, handling is amazing.
Smartend up this year, putting some 16" steel wheels on with Dunlop Winter Sport M3, instead of running and ruining my 18s.
