Nokian WR- anyone with them?

Found this tire that is all season, has the mountain and snow symbol, and is available in 225/50/17. Has anyone had any experiences?

TIA.

I have a set of Nokian's on my 2wd 1999 frontier pickup and they are good tires so far. Good rain traction and dry traction. I'm very satisfied.

I believe this tire is not technically considered an "all-season", it is actually an "all-weather" tire. It is one of if the not the only tire out there with the severe service snow tire rating that can be driven all year round.

I have this tire in a 205/60-16 for my 2K2 that I actually use as a winter tire only. I think it is fantastic for this purpose because it gives you the traction and grip of a snow tire without the quick wear you usually get from a snow tire. I am not sure I would use this tire all year round on the maxima however. The sidewalls seem a little soft (at least in my size) and the handling is a bit "squishy" when you push it. Overall though this is an excellent tire and well worth the price.

The WR's are an updated version of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta NRW's.

I've had the NRW's for 3 winters and they are great for Canadian winters. Awesome in deep snow, ice, and heavy rain. It's weird because both tires are rated as an all-season tire on Nokian's US website, but on their Finland website it's rated as a winter tire. They are without a doubt winter tires. They still can be used as all-seasons, but they are too mushy on dry pavement and look like a winter tires. They also won't wear that quicky which I like. Lots of the maxima guys in Canada run these in winter.
