225 or 235 width Which should I get
I have an 02 I35 with sport package. I am just about to buy toyo proxes 4 and I have 2 questions.
1. the toyo proxes 4 have a 45 height where as stock have a tire height of 50 will this throw off the speedo or have other consequences, like throwing the VDC into a fit.
and
2. The stock width is 225 but I hear a lot of people getting 235s because they offer better grip. Should i get 225s or 235s.. I have heard of people even putting 245s on their car, but I dont know if they have stock rims.
My rims are stock btw

yeah but I just read the 235s are closer to stock than the 225s when the tire height is 45 and it will affect the speedo less with the 235s. Am I getting this correct? could someone tell me please?

Think about it. How are 235s closer to stock than the 225s when 225s are stock? There's going to be 0.53" difference in diameter (diameter ratio of 97.9%) and the tread width ratio is 104.4%. Your speedo will be off by approx 1 mph
