Stock rim weight for 05' Max

I thought they looked a bit heavy, but that's frikin insane for an 18.
They must not be forged and I'd imagine the wheel is so heavy due to the amount of power going to the front wheels. Less likely to peel out???
Dosen't make any sense though, I thought less unsprung weight was a positive for traction
