Replacing OEM Tires

I am in need of replacing my Goodyear Eagle RS-A OEM tires on my SE.

245/45/18's

The originals only gave me 24K miles even though they've been rotated twice. I was thinking of going with Michelin Pilot's, but I haven't read too many good reviews on them.

I was hoping that someone could recommend a replacment tire. Please let me know what you've replaced with and whether you are happy or not.

Get BF Goodrich G Force T/A KDW tires... they will cost you a pretty penny but are the best low profile tires made. Plus, the tread pattern is wicked!!!!

Good luck.

i think you might be slightly overstating their abilities by saying they are the best. i would put the bridgestone potenza SO3 pole position up against that tire any day. in any case, these are "summer" tires. he's got an "all-season" tire.

if in fact you want an all-season tire, then i think you would do well with the michelin pilot sport all-season. the reviews are awesome and i have the tires so i can tell you that they really are one of the best performing A/S tires out there. check them out HERE...

On my SE with 25K miles I just replaced my front (side wall cracking) tires with the michelin pilot A/S. I think I can feel a difference between them and the originals but these should last twice as long. I will probably replace the rears with the same to match once I can get myself to cough up another $500. A lot has to do with how much you want to spend and how often. I have a coworker with a G35 who just pays his $1000 each year for new tires.
