18'' RX8 18'' wheels on a 5.5 gen ??

I'm considering some 18'' from an RX8....I know the offset for those is +50mm. Any issues considering the stock offset is 45mm for my 2002 SE.

If it's ok, what would be the best/proper tire size? 235-40-18???

Thanks!!

Shh...I've been looking at RX-8 wheels...LOL

The one thing I've been wondering on those wheels...what's the hub bore? You want to make sure it's large enough to fit our hubs (so you don't run into the problems people have here when they try to use many OEM Lexus wheels - hub bore too small).

Tire size, 245/40/18 is optimal IMO, but 235/40/18 would work too.

Was wondering the same thing too... found nothing regarding this info Makes me remember... I almost bought some Acura 3.2TL TypeS wheels from a friend of mine and the hub bore was too small.

Edit Found it! RX8 hub fitment is 67.1mm

Maxima 2002-2003 is 66.1mm

On lexus wheels you'd have to have the center bored out larger to fit.

i think the wheels would look pretty cool ,but i think the wheel has to much offest. some one on the org should have a friend that has an rx8 to swap wheels with. Hope to see if anyone actually gets them on. Good luck

Yeah, Yeah, I know this post is OLD, but since I know a lot of you geeks read EVERY new post, I thought I'd ask. What is the answer -Do they fit? Does anybody have them on -without alteration? A search didn't bring up anything newer than this for RX8.
