I have one 16" wheel that has a scratch in it from the previous owner hitting a curb. I was wondering if it would work to use like bondo and smooth out the scratch and repaint the wheel? has anyone ever done this?

 

Anyone? I am planning on trying during my spring break, so any feed back would help. I dont want to spend $100 or so on a new wheel.
