Has anyone ever had any experience with pep boys tires? Good or bad?

I've always had good experiences with PepBoys with their Futura brand of tires. I've purchased them for a minivan and a truck and they've lasted more than 70-80k. Just don't expect "great" customer service.

Why is that? It is true that they are Coopers and they all have about a 60,000 to 70,000 mile warrenty.

Cooper does alot of private branding including Pepboys and Sears "in house" brands.

Cooper owns Avon, Mastercraft, Falls and Mickey Thompson as well as another that I am forgetting at this time

futura's are ok cant rate A+ pepboys also carry hankook and kumho's so why not try them afterall the price diffrence is not huge comparing to futura's.
i bought 4 kumhos a year ago and they still running best. i also had futuras and they lasted nearly 55k because of good treadwear rating.

i got all 4 futura touring on my car cuz i have no monry for expensive tires. They do okay on dry roads, but are not so well in rain. I dont drive very fast around turns and stuff like that so these tires provided just the grip i need.

I also went ahead and got 4 Futura's because I couldn't afford namebrand. I believe these are made by Cooper. They have a high mileage tread warranty. I find them to be nice tires for just daily driving. Also have proved to be very good in the snow. Just because they are a no-name doesn't mean they are bad.
