how many MPG has your car improved by increasing the psi?

Just curious to know what everybody results are...I have been doing alot of highway miles lately...and I only improve by 1 to 1.5mpg, by increasing my tire psi and leaving everything else alone

I went from stock 32psi to 40psi on my falken 512's 225/50/17....the 1mpg increase didn't impress me too much...becuz it could have been anything

Oh well, just curious to know what others are getting...are you guys getting far greater mpg increases when filling up with higher psi? Please post your...

1. mpg increased
2. tire psi (before & after)
3. tire size
4. tire brand

thanks in advanced

Take out your spare tire and whatever weight that you don't need in the car.

I need my spare...I'm always prepared in case of emergencies...and I don't have any other things I can remove that I need

I have always run 40-44 psi in mine depending on which tires I'm running, 32 seems way low to me on a low profile tire.
