1. Been a long time since I've posted, hope everyone is well.
2. Yes...I searched, not much found but, in a rush as well.

Long-story short. Walked out of work this evening and found a 'bulge' on one of my Pilot Sports and I have a ~1000 road trip scheduled over the holiday weekend.

In dire straights for replacements and I may only be able to get this specific tire (best option easily available to me when all things are considered). Bottom-line question: "Anyone have past or current experience with this tire on a 5.5 gen? Acceptable for a touring tire?"

My Max is "over the hill" these days so I'm not too concerned about high-end performance any longer.

Ride: 02' GLE w/ ~76K
Current wheel/tire: 225/50-17 OEM / Pilot Sport A/S
Considering returning to stock size for comfort/noise as well: 215/55-17 HX MXM4

PS - I know EXACTLY what date/time this occured and exactly what pot-hole caused it but...never saw a bulge until today.

I've not run them on a Maxima. However I've had 2 sets of the MXM4s both were OE one on my VW Passat and the second on my Cadillac SRX. Both set have been good tires nice ride, quiet, grip and feel normal for an all season touring tire. They do wear nice and I would expect my wife to get 40k + out of them. My problem with them is cost, I think you can get the same overall performance for much less in another brand.
