wheel offset question

I searched for the 5.5 gen OEM wheel offset but could not find the answer. I know it's out there but some people have atrocious grammar. Is our offset 45 mm or is it 32? I don't have time to read the 29 pages of posts. I'm assuming its 45 because the g35 rims are 30ish offset and 1" wider. If that is the case I am trying to find a lightweight 17" x 8" wheel that will sit towards the outside of the car a little more than stock. According to the wheel offset calculator I need 25mm offset to keep the inside clearance the same. But that is assuming the OEM offset is 45. I want the 17x8 so I can go to 235 tire width. Thanks in advance guys

OEM is 45mm. I used to have 17x8's +35 w/ 235/45 tires and they were fine, the fronts were a little too pushed out for my tastes but the rears were ok. No rubbing.

I also had 17x7.5 +235 w/ 245/45, i like how the fronts were but the rears could've used 5 or 10mm spacer.

I have light weight wheels and am on 17x8" Traklites. :attention:

BUT, I needed to add 15mm spacers in the rear and 5mm spacers in the front. No, it is not a staggered set-up. Staggered is when the rear WHEELS OFFSET differ from that of the fronts. In my case, the offsets are the same but the spacers are necessary to add if you want the front and rear wheels/tires to sit flush with each other on these cars (both A32 and A33) and not look staggered (staggered meaning different offset, in affect, adding to the 'dish' depth re" front vs rears).
