Max Tire Width

OK, im sure this is a repost, but i suck at searching and didnt find anything.

does anybody know what the max tire width generally would be for a 5.5 gen? im lowered about one inch, but dont worry about bottoming out on the tires, they will be strip only. i WANT to be at like 265/275 but i dont know that that will fit. will be on a 8.5" wide 16 with a +35 offset. i just need them to be skinny enough that i can return to the staging lanes without slashing a hole in one of them...or both

I'm thinking these would be in range for your car and wheel width.

depending on if you want a real slick or a street slick.
