Most guys who have that style rim have it on 5th gens. I think it'd look kind of funky on a 4th gen.

hmm

and why do you believe this?
the thing is i really like that lip thing that is going on if you think those would look funky on a 4th gen what do you recommend?

and i dont know i saw this guy's car
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/153824

and he has huge lips axis that are similiar to thruxton wheels and i believe it looks good, i just wanna get out of the G35Z track wheels-Mille Miglia thing everyone has going on around here.

not too much a fan of that car...

re: thruxtons, I just think the 4th gen's styling will clash pretty badly with that wheel. 4th gens look good with smooth, fluid 5-spoke wheels, like MMs. I'd never go for 'em, mostly since they're boat anchors. But they're really played out on the org, I agree.

If you really want to be unique and badass, see if you can find some 18" SSR GT2s... always wanted to see those on a 4th gen.

Edit: Cardana24's car has similar style wheels:

I'm kind of mixed on this design, but I don't think I'd be much a fan of Thruxtons. Spokes are just too skinny, fancy and swept back.

I dont know, man Cardana24 are pretty much the same as thruxtons the only difference is that the truxtons spokes are more swept back and the lip is bigger and i like that look and i also like that other dude's look so i guess i should be happy with the thruxtons (altho i do agree that the spokes are a bit too swept back but it's the only wheels i could find in that style, that and the axis wheels (widetrack maxis, altho i am not feeling the staggered look on a FWD car) . As for the SSR wheels they feel more like 5zigen ''generic wheel'' comes to mind when i look at that styling (i could obviously be wrong since i dont know a damn thing about SSR and their build quality.)

Ah if only rims were like shoes you know trying them on before buying...

Eh, I really dig simple + quintessential styling and function over fancy-looking stuff. If the thruxtons are your style then go for it.

I think they will look good. but if you get 18s with the lip being so big they will look like 17s I would go with 19s if it was me.
