Two metal wires poking out of my rear tire...

I recently got two new tires for the front... Toyo Proxes 4 ( they were priced right, looked good, and some people recommended them...) but after inspecting the tires after they were mounted, I took a look at the rear tires as well...

That's when I noticed these two metal wires sticking out of one of the old rear tires... they're thin wires, and I saw two. they were not connected, but they were spaced 1" apart, and they were in between the contact patch...

So.. um.. are these the steel belts inside the tire that broke? They're not screws or sorts.. it's thin and no head.. width of a small nail, but no head.

A picture would help. If they're new tires there should be no steel belt showing, but maybe you got a bad batch or something? Either way, post a pic.

Yeah, sounds like a belt. Were these on the old or new tires? Please post pics.

These were in the old rear tires. Still has around like 4mm left in the tread.

As for pictures... I'm afraid that the wires were removed on the same day as I started the thread. There were also more in the tires than the two thin metal wires... like three other nails, for a grand total of 5 metal objects in the tire...
