might make it if the offset is just right. otherwise i think it would poke or rub on the inside at full turn.

Depends if you mind if they stick out.... the offset should be marked inside the wheel. A 17x9 +35 will fit, but sticks out about 5mm depending on how much tire you put on it.

Z32D, few mm is still flush in my book
Always loved your wheel setup...
Ok, as far as the offset goes, all you need is a ruler and the wheel

Yes but it would be stretch out... absolutely not room for curb rubbing. It should look nice though...
BTW the offset should be listed on the backside of the rims... either with a sticker or engraved/cast on the metal itself.

If you don't mind the style, check out the 17X8" ET40 Ultraleggeras at TireRack for $209 each.... very light (17 lbs) compared to these... I think those used ones are about 23+lbs each...

17x9 (with proper offset, +35 or so) is the only way to go. 235/45s will be stretched if you put em on, but it won't be too bad.
Not sure how big a fan I am of the looks though.

Yeah, in reality, anything in the 30s should be great, but yeah +35-38 is the sweet spot for that width...
