i know most of u guys are gonna bust my ***** for even bothering to post when this tire is impossible to find, esp this time of the year. i was hoping there would be a miracle if anyone knew a site or place i could find them. thanks

ur the man but the magic question is i currently have 235/45-17 on 17x7 rim and will be going 245/45-17. will this be too wide? and a mpg decrease? also wont it roll like a SOB when goin through turns?

Tirerack.com says that you can find the tire size in inches if you take 225mm/25.4=8.86"
So 245mm/25.4=9.65"
But I find it to be a bit off because I got 235 for my 17x8 and they were absolutely flush with my rim.
I still wouldn't recommend fitting 245/45/17 on 17x7 though.

235 is as wide as you should go.

Those blow nuts in the snow. I would keep that in mind if you do a lot of snow driving.
