Kosei K1-TS 17x9: Will I rub? What offset?

I contacted Tirerack via email, and their Kosei K1-TS are on closeout, the 17x9s are at a steal price right now. The wheels are amazing, light and look dang good. I have a few questions though. I plan on running either 255 Nexens, Kumhos or (maybe) Yoko S.Drives. I want to make sure I wont rub, will I? Also, the guy at Tirerack only mentioned 35 offset. I'm not sure what stock offset is, should I have to go higher than 35mm with the 9in rims? I want them to sit flush(who doesnt?). Thanks in advance.

They have less than 2 17x9s left at that ridiculous price. I saw that awhile ago.

flush in the rear for a 9 would be around 30mm but 35mm is close enough. the front should be good, maybe a slight poke depending on how you measue such things. i would think you would be fine with a 255, but depending on your drop maybe roll your fenders. i wouldnt worry about it too much. all in all sounds like a go.

Morpheus, I contacted the guy and he said they had a set. I emailed him back and asked to make sure there were 4 left, no response yet.

Thanks for the help BoB (hahaha, abbr.)

Incase they dont have 4 17x9s, I will do 2 17x9s and 2 17x8s.

i'd go +25's in the rear for really nice flush but a roll and slight pull if you're running those size tires. go +30 if youre worried about rubbing with 255s.
high 20's to low 30s for the front with 235's should be no problem if you go with 8" wide.

kyle you can't always be like me, even though most of old parts are on your car. LOL

you need a 35mm offset.

Yeah, forgot to add--35mm all around should be good, maybe try +30 or +25 or so for the rear if you're into that kind of stuff

So Mr****s95, you dont think I can run 9" wide in the front?

I guess if we wanted to, Dave, we could just test fit your FN01RCs with 255s first...

9 in the front is cake walk...35-40mm offset with small spacer in the rear, or 25-30mm offset with the fronts cambered in

9 in the front is fine, he was merely stating that if you had to get 8s then 8 +30 would work well in the front.

i never said that. you can run 9.5" with the right offset if you wanted to. just stretch the tire a little to prevent rubbing.
