Wheel spacers?

The guy at my performance shop said that if I install wheel spacers (asked him for 2 to install in the rear) I would get some vibrations in the car.

Anyone with wheel spacers feeling any vibrations?

Thanks;

Peter

I've not had issues with running spacers on my A32. I have 20mm spacers in the front to clear the BBK, and 5mm in the rears.

Thanks for the input!

I'm going to try 15mm in the rears... see what happens.

It also depends on the brand. Make sure they're from a reputable company. My H&R's don't give any vibrations whatsoever.

Nmex, what would be the difference between a reputable company spacer & a "non reputable" one?

Sorry for the stupid question... but intrigued!

The non reputable are probably not hub centric. I've never had non hubcentric ones, but considering what the spacer does and what type of role it plays, I would like to stick to proven products.

H&Rs ftw. i've had 10, 15, and 25mm H&Rs and was 100% satisfied.

just threw 25mm h&r on the front of mine. built like a tank.

make sure to get hubcentric spacers. i wouldn't stray from h&r, eibach, or ichiba.

btw, i hate spacers, time for new wheels.

But then you would need to go staggered. IMO, for FWD cars.

you must not be familiar with the extreme camber associated with a 1' drop.

right now my wheel specs are stupid:

19x8.5 +13 (25mm spacer)
19x9.5 +45

think i'm gonna try 19x9 +24 all around next.

You love filling in your own gaps? that is not a reflexive verb

And I'm sure you fill every gap you can find
