BBS RX/LM fitment

Ive found another set of rims i want, they are much wider, which i like. But im not sure how one set will fit.

The first set is BBS RX 17x9 + 28 with 245/45/17. The tires i dont plan on keeping, considering i get a small amount of rub on hard cornering with 235/45/17 i think those will rub for sure. I am un sure of how it will fit considering the low offset and wide width. My current wheels in the front are pretty much flush, accoridng to the rim size calculator, these will sit out an additional 5mm.

I guess worst case scenario i could get the hub shaved so it would be closer to a 35mm offset. I perfer a tiny bit sunken then sticking out. Perfectly flush would be ideal.

The second set is BBS LM's (my dream rim), 17x9 +40 offset. I would run a 5mm spacer on these to bring them out. Only problem is 600$ for 2 rims, is kinda steep, and i think trying to find another 2 would be difficult.

Anyways running a 9" wide, do any of you have clearence issues? With the 9" wide, i want to run a 255/40/17 at a minimum, im going to need some FAT rubber anyways.

the rears are fine. they would be pretty flush but not hella flush. running a 255 should be fine on 17's as long as you're rolled and not slammed.
As for the fronts, it may rub the fender with a 255 depending on how low you are. you may need to run a slightly undersized tire such as 235 to clear without rubbing issues. obviously a roll and pull would be preferrable with a 255.

if you dont mind LM reps, check out the Linea Corsa Le Mans. there are small differences between the two of course but pretty close. check out my350z.com for good fitment and 5x114.3 pcd. theres a GD going on right now for around $1200. only thing i would be concerned with is the z32 caliper clearance with these, although the offset may be low enough. a small spacer may fix the issue.

Go big or go home on the LM's. You either need to pair them up with real LM's or get the entire set of Linea Corsa Le Mans.

Personally, I'm more of an RS type of guy, myself.

But I like that you're looking outside the 7.5-8" box.

knock offs = WEAK!
17" lms = WEAK!
offests/width are nice though.

I dont want anything bigger then an 18 anyways. Unlike some people here, i am putting down more serious power. If i run 35 series tires...welcome to wheel hop city. Also my area has some pretty crappy roads, with 245/40's and coilovers the ride is crap to begin with.

I dont intend on going with knock offs. There is a reason why you pay more for the real thing.
