Question about distinct rubbing under full suspension compression

Hey,

I was getting a slight rubbing sound from the rear(or what i thought was a rubbing sound) at the end of the summer before i took my 19 inch wheels off. Im riding on H&R springs and Illumina's set to 5. My aftermarket wheel size were 19x8.5, with General Tires sized 245/35/ 19 with a +38mm offset

Ive never gotten any rubbing sound when taking on ramps at high speeds with my aftermarket wheels or hard cornering. I only got the rubbing sound when i hit a nice dip, or took a speed bump too fast with more than two ppl in the car (i have a 3 person limit in my car)

Any way Toward the end of the summer i started to notice this little noise, and just back in october when i took my rims off the car for the winter...and put the stock 16's back on, I STILL GET THIS noise when i hit speed bumps...BUT its only when the suspension seems to be under full compression.......would this be a tire rub issue, or a suspension issue?

if its rubbing in that spot, then yes. take off your wheel and look in the fender area for any marks that look like the tire is rubbing. also looks for marks on your tire. find out what is touching and do something about it.

with h&r and stockies i would almost say it has to be a rear beam issue. either way, roll is the answer unless you got somethin serious goin on.

True...........do you think a rim shop or something would be able to roll the fender on that side

id get your beam recentered if necessary. it would save you a lot of headaches down the road.

but yes a rim shop that has a fender roller would be able to get it done for you.
