Am I losing my mind or did they go out of business?

I haven't been able to get onto their site for the past few days.

www.edgeracing.com

Or maybe their site is just down for an extended period of time.

Posting on Grassroots Motorsports forum says they went out of business. Talked about on multiple other forums as well.

I too was wondering what happened to them, and it's only now that I've heard their out business.

Went to the physical storefront in the middle of the day a couple of months ago and no one was home. It wasn't a holiday either.

I tried getting a hold of them last month by phone, web and went to there store in person and it was vacant. Their voicemail is still active so maybe they're planning a comeback.

Used to buy all my tires from them cause they were cheap and fast with shipping. Just searched on Google and they were talking about it on another forum. Someone who worked there or knew people that worked there commented and said the owner had invested a lot in some business that went belly up and forced them to close as well.

What other sites are you guys using for lightweight wheels and tires? This was pretty much the only site I used, I am looking for some wheels now, and I really don't know of another site to go to other than tire rack. Site Suggestions?

Carson,

The other tire sites that I've found with pretty good prices are:

www.treadepot.com
www.onlinetires.com

This vendor on G35Driver also quoted me some competitive prices on tires:

http://g35driver.com/forums/members/...ireoption.html

But in the end, I just ended up going with Tire Rack for my new tires.

For lightweight rims like Volk, Advan, Weds Sport, etc, I've just been shopping around at various vendors on my350z.com, G35Driver, and evolutionm.net.

Joel,
I check treaddepot and the wheel selection sucks. I did not look at the tires. I'll check your other suggestions. I am aware of other car forums that guys with the same lug pattern as us. I was hoping to find more actual authorized dealers that run ridicules deals every once in a while.

Sorry, I should have been clearer - those two sites I recommended are for tires only; they do have crap wheel selection. You're right, Edge Racing had the best rim/tire deals while it was around, and I'm not sure there are many sites like that out there.
