wheel question

car: 97 se
okay i've searched on this still kinda scratching my head on this.
i have a chance to get a set of wheels from someone at a cheap price. they're 16" x 7" wide. and if it works out i'm gonna put a set of 205/55 r 16 tires on em. now what gets me is the offset. the offset is 25.

what i'm wanting is the wheels to be moved out towards the wheelwell (not behind it).

so with this offset of 25. does that mean the wheel will come out towards the fender? and will it be too much or just right?

Lower positive offset numbers will push the wheel out towards the fender

That said, +25 on a Max? Im not sure.........there are other factors like tire size, etc.

Playing it safe would say +25 is probably too far out. If you look at Tire Rack, it looks like they are spec-ing wheels in the +35 to +45 range.

At only 7 inches wide, you should be fine.
