Using 2 different brand tires between the fronts and the back???

So long story short.. I just picked up a Set of 19" rays G35 wheels.. I have 2

tires that have prob have 80% tread left,..they are NanKang performance

tires, not the best, I know.. My Question.. Would it be okay to mount the 2

that I have on the back of the car, and buy some Grenal Exclaim UHP's for

the front,..I know I wont be able to rotate them already because the rears

are 0.5" wider, (i only use them during the summer months anyway) but im wondering

if it would affect handling/performance vs buying 2 more Nankang and running

all 4 same tires..

thanks

Unless you plan on driving at the limits of traction you'll be ok. Just be careful in the rain; like usual.

yeah..that worries me.. do most tires now track in the same pattern such that the rear follow the front in terms of being on wet surfaces..like they do for snow tires now?... different tires is how i crashed my first car i caught a flat..put the snow tires on the back for 2 days and spun out in the rain... so ... any more advice?

you should be good as long as they arent bald you shouldnt slide, but when it rains and you feel uncomfortable driving just dont take any corners fast and reduce your speed until you can get better tires
