Brigestone Potenza G019 opinions?

I put 4 of these when I bought my Max about a year ago.
So far so good! Fairly quiet on road, highway, good grip on summer and winter.
I'm not a too spirited driver, but I've put 8000 miles on them and still a lot of thread.
On snow (wisconsin snow!), they have decent grip. On ice, not too much, but we can't really get more from these non-winter tires anyway.
In summary, I've no complains

I usually read the owners' reviews on TireRack, to get a real world idea of how a tire behaves on the surveys/ratings.
Usually - i stick with a reviewer who's driven on the tires a MIN of 10k+ miles, because that's when you REALLY start to see how the tires are wearing.

Seems these are currently ranked 8th in their category -- which, I'd not consider....but that's me.
i seem to recall that alot of reviews (and this was a while ago) claimed that the g019's were kinda stiff, and got noisy over the 10k mark....but that's just going from memory.
I want to say the Grid's were designed for a lighter car (accord/integra/fusion) and may not be load rated for a bigger vehicle like the Max.
But, if you're looking "on the cheap" that's probably not a huge concern.
I have BS 960a/s's, and about 20k miles/2yrs -- they are wearing like iron, not noisy, and overall a GREAT tire!
Not so great in the snow, but they're not supposed to be.
Yes - bit more pricey....but you get what you pay for.

I've put about 6K on my set (Standard 16" SE rims)
For me they are loud and don't corner that well. But then again they are all seasons and I think that aggressive treadshould do well in snow, but as we haven't had any yet this year I can't comment. I have a set of Blizzaks for the winter, so I should have bought summer tires for this thing but as you said the G019's are cheap. Live and learn!
