18x8.5 +30?

Any 4th gens running 18x8.5 +30 in the fronts? If so, care to post some pics?
Im curious to see just how much they would poke out. Please list tire size also if you do post pics please.

im on 19x8.5 with a 35mm offset and here is how i sit, tires are 235/35/19 BFgoodrichs(they run wide), so they run pretty wide. they dont rub:

here is a 245/45/18 on an 18x8 with a 30mm offset and it rubs:

unless u have a little bit of fender work(my front fenders are unmodified) i dont thinking a 30mm offset would work to great, i had a slight poke with the 30mm offset but it was barely noticeable looking at the car from dead in front.

hope that helps alittle.

yea sort of. IMO its a narrower wheel with a low offset for 4th gen. 9.5+ 40 is my cup of tea

9.5 on the front?
To me, it looks like the 9" is already out past the fender and the tires have to be strached a bit to fit under.
I dont want anything to poke out, just flush.

Hmm, that would be interstingto see. But what tire size? Woud have to be larger then a 235 right? Or else be stretched?

no bigger than 245 235 is a slight strech on 9.5

9.5 10.5 is money on 4th gen.... by far the best with the right offset

Those look pefect.. however I will have to use 235/40's since mine are still about 85% new.

18x8.5 +32?
the +35 looks great, will the +32 really be that much of a difference?

u might have to run alittle bit of a stretch and a 25mm offset on an x8.5 to get the look u want.

Hmmmm, Im wondering if 2mm will even be an issue, but I have Tein Basics and you cannot adjust the Camber with them. I wish I could freakin see it before making my decision. Its getting hard to find wheels I like in a good fitment.
Thanks for all your help!

8.5 with a 25mm seems to be too wide for the fronts based on what Ive seen so far.

if by issue, you mean rubbing then you should get away with a 235 on a mild drop...... I would still suggest 8.5 +35 with a 235

to sum it up for you, I would NOT go for a 18x8.5 +30 upfront.

I dont like this fitment for 3 reasons

1) decent sized width but too low of an offset (cant run decent width tire and a decent drop)
2) requires stretch to be 100% rub free ( gotta step down to 205 for a real nice strech. 215 or 225 is more suited but still def not something you want to do with a boosted max, not to mention the overall diameter will be off unless you step up to 45, which will greatly limit tire selection)
3) contact area with ground is farther out compared to a 35 or even a +40. harsher on suspension.
4) simply put, ALL IT IS is narrow wheels pushed out. in other words, flush fitment with the fender while sacrificing everything else.

this goes back to why i said to go with a 9.5" with a ~+42....... Not only you will have perfect flushness, you get to run a nice width tire(245) while having a mild stretch that will allow you to drop the car a good amount, greatly improve handling, maintain a tire width centerd with the wheel well AND avoid having a huge gap between the two rims that looks FUGLY from the front.

if you dont care about looks, ENKEI RPF1 is the perfect wheel for you. great width and offset selection, great prices, qualitty and weight. heck, its argueably nice looking too.

just my last two cents.

Currently Im running 18x 7.5 +44 wheels, these are narrow, but as you mentione pullled in under front of the car.
Im not ditching the 235's though, they are almost new.
Would you have pics of this setup from the top and front of the car?
