Chris, do you find the road noise very noticeable? My car came with approx. half worn ss595's when I bought it. I've put about 6k on it since, and the tires have growled the entire time, especially when coming to a stop. I'm fairly certain I have no wheel bearing or brake issues, so I can only attribute the noise to the tread design (sig pic for visual), but having no other tire to base my opinion on, I'm open to input.
I honestly have very little road noise, which was actually very surprising to me. Are your tires balanced?
Where did you guys score these tires from? I found it on discounttires.com. I can get by with little road noise. I care more about performance. Did any of you went to track with these tires and got better result than previous tires?

yes im a Federalfanboy.
great summer tire for the buck. make sure you're balanced and aligned. as far as tracking, i ran them on asphalt/tarmac on my old volks. tore them up but still held up decently. i would designate an R-compound or one of the more stickier street compounds (ie: 595RSR, Kumho XS, RE-01R, Advan Neova, etc) make sure you have at least an extra set if you're going to be out all day (especially a hot day)
