Slight to Moderate Stretch On These?

So tired of rubbing while chasing flushness. Raising the car is out of the question. Im contemplating running a stretch but Im skeptical about it on my wheels. IMO Stretching is usually done on wheels with a lip or a concave design. Would it look good on em?

Wheel/tire specs:

18x8 all around +32 front +22 rear (use of spacers)
235/40
Fenders rolled

Since Im gonna stretch, I wanna push the wheels out another 5mm bringing offests to +27f, +17r.

Id like to maintain the same overall tire diameter since it fills up the wheel well nicely. Would just like to gain some more clearance. What tire size would be best?

Thanks!
-Dough

Would these wheels even look right with a stretch?

I have 205/40 on 17" wheels that are 7" wide. There is damn near no sidewall and with an 18" wheel, I don't think it would work.

Edit: not the wheels in my sig either

4sho at least I can count on someone to keep it solid.

I hate rubbing. No way there can be a person in the back. It rubs all over the place. Im thinking about going with a new setup but if these do look ok stretched, itll do for now.

Opinions on these with a stretch anyone??

And why is raising the car out of question? This is a rather obvious way out. It'd look better with an inch of a raise. What's your suspension setup?

After looking at my boys stretched setup, Im starting to believe 18's may be too small. Due to stretching, car would have to be slammed even harder to fit right but Im pretty low as it is for DD. Im borderline DD/impractical (as if its practical atm).

check and see what other people are running w/e their setup is and go from there....hell you can base it off of what you have...take your measurements...width, diameter and offset and figure out what you need...25mm = 1"..

Raise the car up a little up front and a little more out back and keep those wheels. I digs the "raked" look > "even drop all around".

You might as well raise it up anyway if you're going to get a lip kit.

I'd rather "rake" than stretch tires IMHO. Plus, to pull off the stretch he'll have to go lower. Will there even be room for a lip kit at that point?

I don't mean to be a d!ck but you're just trying to swim against the current with what you have in hand and what you're trying to achieve. the width, offest, face design of these wheels will not give you the look you want. and if you do proceed with it, you will not be happy at the end. do it once do it right, save up for a new set of wheels and go all out on them.

false, 18's on 4th gen are perfect for streching. your ground clearance is too low beause you're tucking tires. with a wide wheel and proper offest, your setup will be poked out and you will have to raise up the car to accomade for the streched side wall. in another words, your fender will meet the borderline of sidewall/width where as now its below that point.
