help whith wheel size

1995 maxima,40mm lowering springs.
looking at some wheels.
18inch 8.5 front & 9.5 rears,,,,,, off set 35 with 265 rear tyres,,35 profile.
Eney idea if they will fit with out mods to the wheel arch.?

They'll stick out about 1.2" more than stock and will be about 1.2" closer to your suspension. Check it out.

They'll definitely touch if you hit a pot hole. Won't fit under the wheel well....

Thanks, I'll give them a miss and go for 8.5 x 18 all round, had this prob with my aristo, just to mutch agro and expense.

Just out of interest what would be the best size to go for, and give you a nice stance.i did look at the post on wheel size but its left me a little bit confused as with out photos it hard to imagine how the car would look.

It's all personal taste. I've seen 4th gens with 19s and 20s. Not my taste but people do it. I would stay with a
17"/18" tire
no taller than 26"
40mm to 45mm offset
7.5"-8.5" rim width

I went with a 225/50-17 tire with a 7.5" rim.
I'm lowered on H&Rs (1.5" drop) with Tokico adjustable shocks. Great ride and looks good too. All personal taste
