My friend is getting new rims for his '09 Maxima and i love those stock rims, i might buy them from him. But they are 19 inch and 8 inch wide. Will they rub?

Shouldn't rub, not even with a 2" drop.

if it does rub, which would probably be because of the tire size it would be when he turns the wheel. it would rub in the wheel well with that big tire on there with a drop. rollling couldnt hurt, i dont see why not. i think with a different size tire it would be fine, even with a drop.

but a different size tire = a lot of money. I personally wouldn't get them if you were short on cash. Plus, he should save his stocks for winter..-= 0

Those tires are gonna rub-up like a bunch of pervs on a train in Tokyo. Okay sorry, that was a bad joke. I just read this article online about weirdos on Japanese trains who go around in groups and gang feel up unsuspecting helpless victims......Anyway, I've got 245 45 18's and they rub whenever I turn. So you might wanna get some super low profiles for those 19's, which are probably gonna last you like 10,000 miles anyway if that....But hey what do I know!

wheel size isn't an issue but tire size will be. you'll want to run something like a 225/35-19.

they will fit

yes they will fit and it all depends on the tire size and how much you have it dropped but it will look perfect and i'd like to see pictures of them asap. but yea do it. i wish i had those rims right now on my 1996 4th gen.
Im currently sittin on the 2004 Maxima 18" alloys and they're str8, no rub no scrub and I'm dropped 1.4" all around but my rims are too small.. way too small.. im contemplating either 22"s or 20"s. and I'll decide by the end of the week. and next month I'll be sitting on something new.
