Radiator Support Prep

So while I'm waiting for my mechanic to figure out why my replacement motor is leaking oil and why my once flawless tranny is now pissing fluid and acting up after the recent motor swap..

I decided to start prepping my radiator support..

Purchased herculiner bed liner from my local Menards..

Plugged all the threaded holes with safety ear plugs.. Worked great!

And taped off all the other holes that way I can pour this stuff in to seal the insides..

Still have to bolt/weld in and hurculiner the outside..

I agree.. That's why I have taped off both left and right sides where the welding will take place..

After the liner dried I simply pulled the tape off.. Exposing bare metal.

I did the same thing, I didn't weld it the the frame, the bolts seems to be enough. It has been over a year now and everything is still fine.
