2002 nissan maxima gle Charging problems

Car died on me abt 2 weeks ago.. In my head im like has to be alternator, got alternator rebuild at a place I alway go to get things like my starter and alternator rebuilt. Bought a new battery as well car started right up drive for abt 15-20 mins radio goes off, dashlights dimed, car drive like it was in neutral couldnt accelerate pull over turns car off try starting dead battery gives jump same thing repeating.... Can their be a shortage some where? Has anyone had this same problem? NEED HELP DONT WANT TO GIVE UP ON IT PLUS I HAVE THE FULLYLOADED MODEL

Well, it does seem like an alternator problem. How about we do a little troubleshooting?
Get a voltmeter and measure the battery voltage before you start the car. If it is less than 11.5 volts, get the battery charged before proceeding to the next step.
With a fully charged battery, start the engine and measure the battery voltage. If the alternator is working properly and charging. you should measure between 14.1 to 14.7 volts.
