been looking for the past few weeks for an alternator better than the (i think?) delco 140amp replacement...any info would be appreciated thanks

my max>>

headunit: pioneer8200r

front:

(www.illusionaudio.com) 5-1/4"+tweeter in sealed custom kicks, illusion 6-1/2+tweeter in custom door enclosure (door panel still looks the same), crystal compression horns under dash (wanted to get illusion as well but got awesome deal on crystals) everything up front pushed by an orion hcca 250g4 amp with ppi deq230 (1/3 octave x-over) and nothing in rear deck at the moment probably wont be let more bass into car

bass:

for my old system i had 2 orion hcca 12s each ran by their own orion hcca 250g4 and two caps>> in fiberglass/1"mdf well box trim peices for flush look inside trunk ...for new system i either want to do 2-15" hcca or 3-12" hcca

electrical:

1/0 gauge tsunami power and ground from battery ,interconnects are all stinger , dont plan on gettin any more caps if i can find an alternator, optima yellow top underhood i may try squeezing another under hoof if i need to

Ohio Generator or The Mechanical Man. Neither are direct replacements but are easy custom installs. I have the Ohio Generator in my 4th gen.

you can run multiple alternators also

I have seen like 19 of them in the back of this one station wagon that hit about 150+ db. Don't know if this would be any better in your case, but just thought I'd let ya know if you didn't already.

I remember seeing that install too. it was back in the days of the Terminator or whatever they called that Rockford-built Hurse...

seen a few at some local IASCA shows that had 8-10 alternators too.. they were mounted in the very back off a full-size bronco driven from a shaft straight off the engine. had huge 3" wide supercharger belts on 'em.. scary stuff.
