weight reduction-> passenger, back seat, plate, mats, all off from trunck, and rear bose cover, central head unit piece.
tire started 28 drop 1 psi every 2 races (pretty much) down to 24psi
my weight 150lbs
manual.
all runs on 3rd except last 3 done on 4th (my last run I had the idle at
1500rpms
very colse to the "E" mark (for every run)
syntetic oil (just changed 2 days ago)
BTW my car dyno at 165hp and 177tq with the same mod I still have
(don't ask me why is so low)
here yah go:

r/t____60'____330____1/8___ mph __1000____1/4____mph
1.289_ 2.385_ 6.516_ 9.914_ 72.57_ 12.828_ 15.298_ 89.99 1st
1.318_ 2.464_ 6.601_ 10.009_ 71.56_ 12.926_ 15.387_ 91.62 2nd
0.931_ 2.498_ 6.634_ 10.033_ 71.74_ 12.941_ 15.397_ 91.88 3rd
1.070_ 2.343_ 6.488_ 9.930_ 71.83_ 12.866_ 15.338_ 90.87 4th
1.294_ 2.484_ 6.597_ 9.975_ 73.07_ 12.866_ 15.306_ 92.45 5th
1.309_ 2.484_ 6.638_ 10.045_ 71.73_ 12.960_ 15.458_ 90.21 6th
1.095_ 2.316_ 6.419_ 9.934_ 69.96_ 12.921_ 15.443_ 89.64 7th
1.320_ 2.292_ 6.392_ 9.819_ 71.28_ 12.742_ 15.241_ 90.21 8th

please tell me what shoud I have do differently to get better, how much woukld I inprove with better R/T, could I get into the 14.9 ????
Btw my 7th run 3rd didn't go in (missed)

BTW what affects what at the times, (spin on lauch = bad 60' but a bad 60' doesn't mean a bad lauch)

you should run your car with like 1/2 to 1/4 a tank of gas. dyno is kinda low. Maybe a tune up.

R/T doesnt affect the 1/4 mile time. With better 60's you might be able to get a 14.9.

looks like launching probs to me. best of a 2.29x isn't real quick. Get it in the low 2.2's, should be close to 15 flat, probly like 15.1 with good weather conditions

your car is not making the power it should, that's problem number one. you are down at least 10-15whp from where you should be. address that first. have you checked for the KS ghost code?

i have done the knock sensor (changed my self)
after the dragrace, I fill my tank up and the total was 16 gallons, (so I still had 4 gallons in the tank by the end of the night) (5 gallons is enough right?)

my car is cali spec, oooh I forgot to mention two important thing about power.
I have the engine light on, for egr malfunctioning p0443 (i think) and I have a malfunctioning water pump. (no codes for the pump, but there is collant leaking)

will that affect the power in the car?

After I dyno my car, I did, 300z fuel filter, both belts.
I forgot to mention, I didn't remove two things form my car. (the stillen RSB), and (a FSB)
now,

How do I get my 60' to be better?

thanks for the information..

For Comparison. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=320850
this is when i was up there a couple months ago. after my car had dynoed 160whp and 177wtq, i did a tune up though new KS,plugs and coolant flush. that was the same day you had your car dynoed.
i ran alot of runs my best run is in the link. the avg of the rest was 2.4 60 ft times and 15.4ETs but my traps were always over 92.XXMPH..
Since then i have added a Full catback exhaust and redynoed at 176whp and 190Wtq. so i am planning on heading back up pretty soon. not bad times though

cool zack342, I want to dyno my car again, I don't know if the stock muffler has something to do with it (losing some power),
to tell you the true I am fully capaple of having a very good r/t therefor having a better 60', but every time I was getting ready (light were changing) I was afrid to red line and decided to wait until I see the green light. (I'm a swimmer, I have very good reflexes) on my brain I see the green lights turning on then i think oh I see the green that means I should go rihgt now, ooh wait the other car hasn't left I should wait, then I see the oter car leaving then I go....you can see the other cars there, but all my r/t were slowers then the others. on my quick ones, the other car were doing .534 r/t. when It comes to the import wars on the 24 or so, I will probably go there and try it agin, and with my expierece I will be a master on the dragstrip

like was said before, your RT has absolutely nothing to do with your 1/4 mile time. You could have a 20 MINUTE RT, and still run a 15 second 1/4 mile. There are two separate timers, one timer which starts when the light goes green and stops when your car leaves the starting line. That timer measure your RT. The other timer starts when your car leaves the starting line and stops when you cross the finish line, that is your 1/4 mile ET. They are two separate and non-related things.

stock muffler will not be holding you back at this point, there is something else going on with your car, unless of course you are just shifting very very slowly, in which case you would be "off" the gas for too much time during the 1/4 mile, and thus wouldn't be going as fast by the time you finish.

If you want to cut a good RT then go on the last yellow...waiting for green will give you one second RT all day long. But with the 60' times your pulling the last thing you should be worried about is RT. Just ignore the other car and go when your ready. It does not affect your time so who cares.

ok, now I understand what RT means. I usewd to think that the 1/4 included the r/t meaning, if I have a 5 sec rt then my 1/4 will be 20.xx (if I were to do a 15.xx).

in regards of shiffting I do belive I can shift very fast, (stock shifter), but I have a shrt shifter that I haven't installed, so if I install it and my times are no different then ??? I don't know...

but thanks,
sorry nealoc187 for my stupidity
