came home from track : )

and had my best run with this car.
it was a clear beautiful night and at 7:32pm on Oct 8, 2004
Temp: 67* very low humidity

mods: HKS rear section only, stock engine bay
2003 Autotragic

R/T: .485
60' : 2.047
330: 6.018
1/8: 9.288
MPH: 75.90
1000: 12.106
1/4: 14.507
MPH: 95.35

i had 5 other runs.. runnin 14.6xx, 14.7xx consistently with 2.1xx 60'
but this was my 3rd run of the night and i got the launch perfectly power brakin around 1.8k rpm...still had some wheel hop but not much as the other runs. this week im puttin on a y-pipe, and hopefully a b-pipe with it and i can smell low 14's in the air!! maybe high 13's if i keep up with these 60'

I never knew an auto could get below 2.1s... good job!
you ever run it on your stock tires previously?

I'm just thinking, with a near 2.0 launch I would have thought it would go down to 14.3 14.4's...

How was the weather?

yes i did run with stock potenzas and had consistent 2.1xx most of the times with them...even with a 2.0 launch i didnt get down that low in 14's because i basically have no mods on the car when it comes to performance...only did the suspension so far and as far as performance y pipe or headers hopefully will be on end of this month. then i can get some top end and dip into low 14's or maybe high 13's

as far as weather it was a beautiful night dippin into the 60's aftersunset. humidity felt low dont kno the exact #'s and it was at capital raceway in crofton, MD dont kno wut the elevation there is but im sure its close to sea level

by the time spring rolls around, my tires will be bald, like slicks, and maybe then I can also get a 2.0xx 60' time! (which could mean 13's!!!) Nice job tho bro

More like 2.4 60' times. Bald tires are almost as bad as bad track prep. Either way, you can't replace good rubber, and Gooey seems to have himself some that really plants.

Anyway, Gooey, your short time reads like a slick or dr induced 60'. Good job again man. Way to represent.

P.S. Gooey, I thought you ditched your 5.5th gen for a 6th gen?

thx everyone and no i returned the 6th gen and kept the 5th gen too much legal work for me to change cars. and as for that 60'....it did surprise me but i ran consistent 2.1xx and those were very low 2.10x...i ran those with stock potenzas and now with falken 512's... ppl say i should not burn out my tires since they arent slicks....but i realized after goin to the track almost every weekend that burnin them out got them very sticky and hot and thats wut resulted in my good 60's....now i just need to mod my car to get some high end power
