15.5@90 best AGAIN?? with mods....

So when I first got my 99 5spd I took it to the track bone stock and ran a 15.5@90 for my best... Now that I have my moddes airbox , Yipe, SP2 catback, shortshifter, and suspension (colder weather) I still cant break 15.5... I was mostly doing 15.6 + I do have problems with launches now though but damn !!!

post the stock and moded numbers from the slips. Just the ET and mph don't really tell us that much.

I also ran the same times in my 5spd, with same mods as you, with 176k on the odo. My 60 ft. times were 2.4 - 2.6 ish (garbage driver)

I'll yell at him to post his slips. The track was off that night, though.. I was running .2 slower than I was when it was 20 degrees warmer out. His numbers should be better at a more consistent track.. Mahoney, you bogged at least 2-3 times that night and that will kill your E/T.

91mph with your mods is bad! Try the following if you haven't already:

spark plugs
clean throttle body
pcv valve
clean air filter
fuel filter
oil change

Check for codes if you have cel. Test the following things:
knock sensor(I went from 88mph - 92mph)
oxygen sensors
coil packs

Hope this helps

It would be more helpful to see the slips from the two different days

What tires do you have. That will make a bit of a difference.
