Someone please explain to me my 1/4 mile slip?
i was running my 96 GLE auto at Englishtown on october 29th. made 7 runs, and below is the slip numbers. I have a Stillen intake, Budget Y&B pipes, magnaflow straight-through, AGX/Progress (2f/6r), VB, and stock 15 inchers with Dunlop A2's. Recently changed spark plugs (replacement platinums) and fuel filter.
Below are the times for me (on the right) and an absolutely stock 2000 Maxima

Absolute Barometer 30.07

60' 2.443_____ 2.530
330 6.863_____ 6.956
1/8 10.492_____ 10.562
MPH 67.91_____ 69.26
1000 13.589_____ 13.631
1/4 16.234_____ 16.253
MPH 84.88_____ 85.66

Can someone please explain whether my times should be like that, or if i should be running quicker/faster.
Also, what does the "Left 1st" mean?
Thanks!

When it comes to getting good 1/4 times the most important thing is the 60' time. For evey .1 you can reduce your 60' time your final 1/4 time will be reduced .2. So if you were able to pull a 2.23 60' time your 1/4 mile time would go down .6
Mid 15's are possible for you but you have to work on the launch.

Mike already explained the 60' time to ET relationship and to answer your other question, Left First means the car in the left lane finished first by .1396 seconds. It takes into account the difference in the time it took you to get down the track (16.25 seconds) and the difference in time it took you to get off the line (RT).
