slightly better PB yesterday

well it was in the mid 80,s and very high humidity. Car weighed in at 2840 race weight. And iam using a stock 95 ecu ,also my IM is 00 vi which i wished lined up but thats what iam gonna use until i get the one iam planning on running.
Used the slicks for the first time had a problum first run up . i was spinning my tires in first shifted to second comming out of the water box. the problum was it wasnt tire smoke it was clutch smoke . it was so bad it wouldnt go in gear i had to be pushed off the line . after waiting a couple hours i decided to give it a go it finnaly went in to gear after it cooled.slicks are M&H 24.5x8.5 -15

well iam also very impressed with my 60's because my car is higher than stock and a few of my struts are blown i have zip ties in the front and rubber blocks in the rear . i will be adding more for next time. i think the zip ties helped alot it really keeps the front down.prob i had also was slicks spun with anything over 4500rpm my 1.866 60ft was launched alittle below 4500rpm.
One thing i dont like also is the fact i have to shift into 4th gear at the end car boggs bad in 4th when i shift in to it.

60ft 1.866
330ft 5.455
1/8 8.519
mph 81.04
1000ft 11.112
1/4 13.318
mph 101.96

Nice time. Sure sounds like there's a lot more potential there too.
