new pb 1/4

Last time I pulled a 14.8 all night. today I only got 2 runs, 2nd of which Ismoked first and gave up. I got 14.35 at 99mph and 2.1x 60" on tonights first run

Since the 14.8 I fixed a few things, replaced cai with wai, and threw in es motor mounts. in the 14.35 I went to fuel cut in one of the gears( i think 3rd) and bogged in first, but nitrous covered me quickly. I think high 13s are possible. 235/250 whp/wtq

thanks, I went to GLD because according to mapquest it was a shorter drive. One of my transmission cables was damaged so the shifter didnt center, etc.. got stuff fixed and iw as happy witht he 14.35, half a second improvement. You plan on going anytime soon? My blower was shipped yesterday, so next time I go I'll be shooting for 12s, if all goes well. BTW, nice times in your profile, were those with nitrous or only turbo?

Heck yeah, Good luck to you man. My buddy hand installed his Supercharger and has no issues from it at all for numerous years. Maximas are strong as hell. I am so happy that I got one for my wife instead of a newer car.

i probably won't be hitting the track out in chicago until the fall, though I might hit up battle of the imports next month. depends on what's going on with my car. some things are going to be changing soon so hopefully it'll be ready to go - knock on wood.

You are a very level headed guy, so I can tell from that that you are good at anything that you do. Good luck and post your times please.

I plan on coming here (Maxima.org) more often, it is just a lot of fun and after taking the Max to the strip it has really earned a special place in my heart.

That's an awfully heavy 5th gen. You got a few hundred pounds of something hiding in the trunk perhaps?

Damn you got a couple of bodies in the trunk or something? lol jk.

14.35@99 sounds pretty good considering its just a 50 shot. i ran 14.2@98 on my auto with 75shot. the weight you said must be slowing you down a bit though because you should defenelty not be slower than me, i did the 14.2@98 with 60' of 2.3x.

did u dyno your car with the 75? did u have a bottle heater? Any other mods than the shot?
I weighed my car on one of those truck weight stations. 3400 everytime without driver, this time it had some extra junk in the back seat area, and I'm a lil over 200lb

well, iv only dynoed with a 50shot and without 00vi, it was 217whp and 241tq. I weighed my car once at my track and it was about 3100lbs, my mods are, 00vi, CAI, ypipe, catback, udp(dosnt do anything lol), and drop resistor for tranny. Also my nitrous comes on at 3,000 RPM so im not really spraying out of the line, so i have some lag between my launch and when i reach 3k. If i spray out of the line i will just spin. Also I am on 2k3 Maxima Titanium rims (50lb/ea with tires).

edit: forgot to mention, i have bottle warmer and pressure was set to 1050.
