Trailered back to KCIR again, to try my MSD-controlled Shift_Fast auto tranny controller, and to see what happened to my second nitrous stage.

N20 problem: Last week, I switched both NX stages to 75-shot. On the first launch, the engine began cutting out as soon as I hit 2nd stage (in first gear). Letting up and getting back into it in a second or so, everything was OK. Whew. This happened twice, so I put 50-shot jets into 2nd stage - same problem for last two runs.

Last night I had the same problem - the engine would cut out if I got into the second stage too early. On my 4th and final pass, I waited until I was into 2nd gear before spraying 2nd stage, and everything ran OK. I suspect I don't have enough spark voltage, although I have new 2-step-colder plugs installed, gapped at .031. Something is definitely wrong.

I was going to try the manual version of the Shift_Fast tranny controller (thanks, Jime) but I couldn't get a feel for manual shifting during extensive on-ramp tests this week, so I decided to give my MSD-controlled Shift_Fast a chance. It works great - I set the shift point, and it shifts the tranny hard and fast, right at the set point.

On run 1-3, I had to lift off 2nd stage after first engaged ?
On run #4, I was very slow to engage, but no cutting out. ?

On last pass, car pulled like a b*ch once second stage was engaged. There's hope. I'm still looking for a full 75-shot + 75-shot pass.
