1st time in the 4th gen

best run was:
.683 rt
2.288 60'
15.598 @89.38MPH

worst run was
.103 rt
2.776 60'
16.4 @86 MPH

out of 8 runs i got 3 clean ones 1 race i missed 2nd and twice the lady pushed the button while i was still backing up cu'z i missed the sensor on the ground. my best launch was @ 3,200 RPM but it took me 3 runs to figure that out starting from 1,500 working my way up.

this was done with a 95 5spd non-VLSD 334xxxkms on everythign except the plugs,2.5" crush bent cat back with a broken muffler and numerous leaks starting from the y pipe. my car also bogs from the clogged and ticking cats. and my tires tread is right almost level with the measuring gauge. my car weighed @ 3210 with me in the car. and my rear o2 throws a code once in a blue moon. shifted @ redline just kissing it

Alright ill provide you with several tips.

First of all fix all those things before you hit the track.

Are you sure you have a non vlsd 5spd?

Second work on your 60fts, 2.228 isnt bad, but 2.7 is awful.

Third, Dont shift at redline, your IM kills power after 5500, so kissing the redline isnt beneficial, i think you will want to shift like this

1-2:6500(redline)
2-3:6200
3-4:5900

I notice your traps are lower too, esp for a 5spd, but once you fix all that crap you should be back to normal times. I didnt know mission was open? I was suppose to go on friday to race with my school but it was cancelled so i assumed mission was closed? Next time you head up there, maybe we should have a little meet, im interested to see who has the fastest maxima in vancouver

why would you knowingly go the track with a broken car

it's going to be hard to compare times since most people try to track their car when it's running good
