good sh*t... with slicks and a tune, you'll definitely run at least 13.6.. i gotta get to the track so i can see what my time is man

Butt dynos are "inconclusive" for most, but I felt it pull a little better up top with no loss on bottom.
I say SSIM, NWP spacers, bumping your timing, tune, light-weight wheels/sticky rubber=mucho profit and on the times you'd get.

Last time run which was my pb in that car was a 14.7@94 with a 2.2XX 60ft time. The set up was a set of 16" wheels(pretty light), y-pipe and greddy cat-back and intake.
This time i will be running with cobra rotors upfront and 18" G35coupe wheels but i have the VI, SC but i will only be running the 3.60 pulley. If i can run a high 13@100+ mph with this set up i will be happy.

Yes I have run all 3 setups with the full A33B setup, stock, modified and 350Z IM's. However I can't find my timeslips from last year, but from what I remember the stock setup was quicker than the modified IM and the 350Z was the best. With the A32 setup the stock was quickest followed by the modified then the 350Z.

nevermind...i know that it could fit with some fabrication.....will it improve my 1/4 and by how much if so?

I got the complete manifold for $100 and the Motordyne stuff for $200 because they were just going into production and wanted some testers. Its definately not worth it if you have to pay retail.

It would improve your 1/4, by how much I'm not sure because my timeslips are missing. I don't think it would be worth it unless you got the parts cheap. You need all 3 pieces. I also have a Motordyne 5/16 spacer ($265) and MREV 2 manifold ($400). http://www.motordyneengineering.com/350Z.htm

I dont think it would be worth the work. The mrev2 is basically a ported version of the bottom part of the UIM so you would need the top portion. Also if I remember correctly the mrev2 works better with the revup model Z's. I'm not sure if it has to do with the extended redline.

The upper manifold is 2 pieces thats why I said 3 all together. Mine came off of an 04Z and I can't remember for sure what years you can use as I did this 2 years ago now.

Not much work involved except in getting the parts, the manifold can be swapped in a 1/2 hr.
"When used with on the non-REVUP engine, the gains are very similar to that of the 5/16" spacer but the MREV 2 Manifold will show a slightly lower peak value, with a slightly higher average value and a slightly higher TQ value. Overall, MREV 2 Manifold provides "area under the curve" and is the highest gain plenum mod available."
