finally ran the 6sp

i was wanting to run my car for a while, (2002 maxima 6MT) but decided to run it tonight... pretty good weather (high 40's) and the car was running pretty good too...

i got an intake and a block off plate on my car along with paper tags lol (yes, still haha) this is my 1st 6sp ever so im no pro...

anyways here is how it went down.. 1st run started with a 14.5 at 96mph but got it down to

R/T ... 0.215 -----Best R/T - .082
60' ... 2.293------Best 60' - 2.228
330 ... 6.117
1/8 ... 9.295
MPH ... 77.22
1000 ... 12.014
1/4 ... 14.333 (best time)
MHP ... 97.07 (best speed)

once i get my 60' down and get a sts, i should be alot better lol... the throws are WAYY too longg

here is a video of me running my friends 350z (HR motor)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eLgZy5F4PA

let me know what you think!

Great times. Congrats. I wish I could have weather like that here. The lowest I have ever ran at was in the mid 70's..

if you drove a car with an STS (free or otherwise) you would understand why stock is so poor

He is very happy with those times and so am I. I'm just saying with his 60ft, if he can cut a 1.9 60ft out of this car because it does have HLSD then it will def run in the 13's the way it sits. But we will see what happens Friday night hopefully.

You could get a 1.9 60' easily with drag radials. I did on an open diff and 205/40-17 drag radials (small as hell).

He should put some 15" wheels with 24.5 slicks on the car and let it rip.

I know guys put the saw blades from the 4th gens on these cars, but I'm not so sure if Solow wants to shave part of his calipers haha.. We can get there with 17" DR's I'm positive!! We will see though because we didn't end up going back to the track last night..
