i think he might still have those rims... but yall loved in MD???
I ran about 2 weeks ago an got my new PB trap speed.
1st run
1.97
12.75
110.02mph
2nd run
1.94
12.75
110.11mph
Both runs i had traction issuses which could explain the higher MPH, but oh well, still happy to finally break the 110 mph mark
P.S.
Both these and also the 12.52 were done with PS hooked up, and all bumper supports etc.. Unfortunatley i didnt remember to weigh the car, but i recently converted to leather interior so i sure its alittle heavier, but not by much.

Remember Aaron's car is probably 400-500lbs lighter and has headwork on top of the cams/boltons/tune and is dipping 12.0s@112-113 on 1.8 '60s.
Jay is probably good for a 12.4ish with low 1.8s judging from his most recent runs. A 1.6 '60 and a little luck could probably result in a 11.9X
Would take this.

Jay has the advantage of being able to launch wherever he wants. With a full slick, 1.6 60's are a possibility.

It is unfortunate that Aarons car can't get off the line. The car has 11s in it with a good 60'. When he gets the converter situated, his car should work really well.

I couldn't get past 1.8s on my slicks... Maybe had something to do with my POS stock clutch and the slicks being pretty worn when i got them. Still 1.6 '60 foots will be difficult in a NA 5.5g maxima. I hope Jay can pull it off should he ever get slicks.

Aaron's car and converter choice are setup for nitrous which gives him much better '60 foots. I'm not certain that he will get a bigger converter, and is just having a little fun setting NA records for now. I still hope he will, a high/mid 11 second N/A VQ35 would be sweet, and actually beat anything that's been posted on the 350z forums also.

My 3500 stall just isn't cutting it since my engine doesn't wake up until after 4100rpm. It's perfect for a street Maxima, but not for the world's fastest NA drag/street Maxima.
Can't wait to see it in action!

I think he mentioned in his build thread or some other thread that he was gonna stay NA and try to go as fast as possible. I want to see an 11 second N/A max bad!
I plan to stay NA until I think I can't squeeze anything else out of her without spending too much money. I hope to be running mid 11s by that time. Then, I may spray once I have a cage.
fyi might want to lower that to 45k if you ever plan to spray cause on nitrous a 5k tc will flash up to around 55k depending on the shot. Funny thing is that may not be a bad thing with your motor, what the current rev limiter at now
I can easily rev to 7800rpm, but right now, my optimal shift points are at 7300rpm according to my power band right now. With nitrous, I may shift a tad lower. But I'll worry about that after I'm running 11.5s NA.
Lets take this over to my thread so we don't keep whoring Jason's thread.

Definitely think that I can hit 11's all motor. As far as my setup right now, I believe with a high 1.7 60' I could pull a high 12.3. With some weight reduction, rods, uprev oil pump, slicks, extend my revlimiter alittle further, tune, lsd 6thgen tranny wouldn't hurt either. With a 1.7 or better 60' id be looking for a 11.9-11.8, maybe better hopefully. My intention was to try this this year, but I moved, so that killed my plans til this coming year.
