It was only a 100 shot and I'm about 99% sure it was a 4at.

I personally think some folks are just faster than others, I would like to see your car in person cause it's just hard to believe how fast you really are.... final drive still same as installed from factory? R u using any piggy back systems, tuning gadgets, different injectors? I'm just trying to get the speed knowledge like you.....what was your completely stock pb? You might be one of those fellas like Mark Donohue.....Whatever u drive is faster than anyone else in that same type vehicle.....You might be a phenom dude!

You have to be a to not know @ least most of Jay_Pees mods.

I think you might be referring to Nealoc187 as the phenom of the A32.

Factory trans and gears, no piggyback system, stock injectors. I never ran it COMPLETELY stock. But with just a intake i ran 14.19@ 99mph first time at the track with a stick. I have been told that i do have the driver mod though!

I saw JP run this time that is posted here and I have seen him at the track lots of other times. He is a good driver, and he is normally a good bit faster than other maximas with the same mods. I think what people need to realize is that IMO JP goes to the track/races just as much as anyone I know on this forum. He is a good driver that practices a lot

Mardigras is still the best driver I have ever seen race a maxima.

Supercharger,
Nitrous (most common accusation lol)
More mods than listed
More tuning device than listed
Head/internal work...
Its amazing.... funny though

anything above 93 which would be 100,104,116 is by most people considered race gas as its not found at the pump, the difference being unleaded vs leaded.

picking up as much time as he did with the gas, simply put the car had maddd timing advance in it and the fuel helps alot in that department.

i dont know much about the mods on a 5.5 but geesh, sounds like this car has just about every mod possible from ecu, to second tuning devide safc or something, to flywheel,,,,, will definitely like to see what it can do now with an added mod..

Maybe his just a lucky guy lol. Look at nealoc, everycar he takes to the track he runs faster than average, even almost stock. So his either a good driver or lucky guy, or both.

My best on the last set-up was 12.58, but i just added the Brian crower stage 2 cams. Honestly it doesnt feel any faster, but i guess thats b/c of the 30wtq i lost low end.

Oh yeah sorry. Time to update that sig. That 12.58 was in pretty decent weather. It'll be tough to get the same DA in NY in the summer. But nice looking power curve! My car looks similar. My engine is useless until I hit 4K and then it's just like I flipped a nitrous switch.

I ran some quick numbers for you. The DA this Saturday is expected to be around 3000'. So with your car being in the exact same setup as when you ran 12.5, you should be 4-5 tenths slower. I'm sure the cams helped a lot, even if you don't feel it though. So I'm sure you'll be able to run 12.7s if you have traction. But 11s will be tough in the summer time.

I won't be able to make it myself though.

I'm not seeing the video but if you would put 1 and 2 together you would see that its the blue one... I think the "tan" one is mines check the OP sig I'm sure it shows the car he owns... the 12.5 video wasn't recorded... and if you also look at other videos you will see his 12.6 and other runs
