I propose we have moderators in this forum, simply because I am sick of hearing certain claims by certain members, who will remain unamed, about mods that have been done to their Maximas that are for the most part b/s. If you have mods that nobody believes are real, post pictures, otherwise we should get moderators to put them in their place.

I don't think this forum will ever be moderated. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they deleted it once the 6th gens come out. I don't think those who drive 4th and 5th gens take this forum seriously.

Go to the 2nd gen Nissan Maxima club, we never have to worry about idiots that b.s. Plus, we've got a lot more features like photographs of people's 2nd gens, links that are specific to our 2nd gens, and a large memberbase that is dedicated to the 2nd gen. Those are features that you won't get here at maxima.org.

You have to sign in first. Then you should see it as a submenu under the messages menu on the home page. If you don't see it after you sign in, click the refresh button on your browser.

Believe me I tried to become moderator of this forum but the other moderators and the Administrator of the site Jambo doesnt think We need one. Since there isnt much traffic that flows through this forum they dont want to waste their time on a moderator for 1st and 2nd gen forum. Believe me ask all around I tried and they just ignored. I even emailed the admin directly and still nothing. I even had people stating they wanted me for moderator and still nothing. So its useless.

Can buy a 2nd gen for the price of a good digital camera.

I would rather have the car than the camera. I gave $300 for the Maxima I'm driving now. Gave four grand for the last one, seven years ago. The latest one has lower mileage. Planning a modification myself soon. Going to put a 300ZX motor mount on the front side of my Maxima because I have one on the shelf. Thinking of forcing hard rubber wedges into the back mount, through the holes. I used wood wedges on the last one I had, like you use for setting doors in carpentry. I guess it is not really a very radical alteration. I may be putting a Pathfinder starter on it, and I plan to put a larger capacity alternator on it to run a stereo amp. I may put some 300ZX seats in it too. I have a couple of extras. Looks like all of these Nissans can use the same power seat motors, whether they were power seats in the first place or not.

Moderation

So, say you have this ****head that wants to come up to you whenever he sees you in the bar and talk a bunch of, what you know to be, bull****? What do you do? Same thing you do to some ****head who lists a collection of mods he wishes he could put on his car but still hasn't bought and talks about painting it flaming ***got orange. Since none of us can knock 88max2nv unconcious with our beer mugs, do the next best thing, ignore the pile of puke till he goes away. Looking at the reality of not having a moderator I see no other choice. I am open to other suggestions.

i dunno, i kinda enjoy reading about the things he'll never do because it's kinda funny. no one in their right mind would paint a 2nd gen max flaming (gay) orange. it's just his way of admitting the jig is up, but not going down in bright red flames, but more...flaming orange ones.

You can buy a disposable one for ten bucks and go to your local library to scan them. Total cost $10.50. There are no excuses for not putting pictures up.
