Ebrake?
Hmm, do you have an chilton/haynes/factory service manual? I would definately invest in one for these cars. I believe there is 2 ways to adjust them, but that depends on which brakes you have. If you have a GL, GXE (though I think 87-88's got discs), you will have drumbrakes, where if you have an SE you will have discs. You would pretty much look up the appropriate one. Let us know, I might be able to find something on it and scan it for you if needed.

Well, if you have chrome trim and a chrome grill, then you have a GXE, if it's an '87-88. If it's an '85-86 then it would be called the GL, but it's the same thing as a GXE.
If you have black trim, a black grill, a front air dam, a spoiler, and cutout headrests, then you have an SE.
There are some other differences, but that should be enough info to figure out which trim level you have.

Oh, and it doesn't matter which trim level you have to work on the brakes, they're exactly the same on both the GL/GXE and the SE.
You can adjust the parking brake at the rear calipers and I believe there's an adjustment that you can do at the lever itself. I don't know how to do it cause I've never actually done it, but I believe that's what it said in my Chilton's manual.
