Need help here. The other day my alternator went crazy and well. I was driving, and when i floor the car the volt meter suddently went up past the maximum number and until i let go. It happened again and the horn started going off by it self. also the headlights went on and off when i floored the car. Anyone know what could be the problem here

sounds like the voltage regulator, in the alt, is shot...replace it...

yeah I'd be fixing that pretty soon, that'll burn up the battery in no time.
