What a nightmare!

I bought my 85 max wag few months ago, and I guess the previous own never clean the rims. Over the weekend, I tried to clean the rims, and I used wheel cleaner, power brush, and wheel polish. I still can't get much of the brake dust off the rims. Does anyone now any chemical or method to get rip of the brake dust? Any tips? Thanks

These are the worst rims ever! They are a nightmare to keep clean. What you may need to do is trying using brake cleaner and just scrub your *** off, because that's about all that you can do. The 85-86 rims in my opinion are the most difficult to clean because of all the little places dirt can get trapped.

I've had pretty good luck with the automatic car washes
that have the wheel cleaning option.

Most of the time you have to pay extra for getting the
wheels cleaned over the standard wash.
