I don't want to go OEM on this, and I don't want a dramatic drop. What's the recommended setup for this vehicle? I want a TIGHT suspension, bumps don't bother me; and a little bit of a drop would put a nice stance on the car, but no more than 1"-1.5", I love owning a sleeper. I have become accustomed to taking parkway entrance ramps in excess of 70-80 mph (my corolla turned like it was on rails, and my supra, ... well ... shift to drift. 'nough said.)

I have a GXE, and I don't believe it has the electronic suspension, something I would want to do with-out anyway.

What have you guys/girls been using and been happy with?
Ideas? Suggestions?

(Oh yeah, I forgot to mention in my first post. The original owner, an old man, put Potenza's on the car. I got a chuckle from that when I saw it.)

Well, the general concensus on this matter is KYB struts, and ST springs. Then, use a FTSB.

You can also upgrade the front swaybar bushings to Poly units, by getting the universal type for both the ends links and the brackets, from Autozone.

There is also a rear sway bar available, but i don't remember who makes it - Sarin - Maximase86 - has one on his car...

Lastly, my wagon had Potenza RE910's on it when I first bought it. Those were nice tires. However, I just purchased a set of Falken Ziex 512's...these are awesome for this car, and actually quite cheap, as I got all four mounts balanced, and everything (including special order fees) for $300 even.

Addco is the company that makes the RSB's for our cars. Definately a recommended mod.
